For over five years, we have guided students of all ages, from absolute beginners to those preparing for GCSE, A-Level and competitive school entrance exams.
I hold a Masters in Music Education from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where I achieved a Distinction and was awarded the Director's Prize for Education in 2023, the conservatoire's highest honour for a graduating education student.
With over 15 years of teaching experience across all ages and levels, I bring both deep musicianship and rigorous educational thinking to every lesson. My teaching is currently informing my PhD research into how digital tools and technology can enhance music education.
I am also able to offer in-person lessons for students based in Chester or willing to travel to my studio.
Technology lets us teach in ways a traditional in-person lesson simply can't.
Lessons are built around your specific goals, whether that's passing an exam, learning a favourite piece or simply enjoying playing.
As an active researcher in music education, my teaching methods are continuously informed by the latest evidence on how people learn most effectively.
Screen sharing, annotation, recording, and a dedicated LMS combine to offer a richer feedback loop than a typical face-to-face lesson.
