Not at all. If you can join a video call, you are ready. A simple setup guide is provided, and any technical questions are answered during your free consultation. We have never had a student who couldn't get up and running.
Often more so. Our teaching approach is informed by ongoing PhD research into using digital tools to enhance learning. With screen sharing, recording capabilities, and a dedicated Learning Management System, students frequently progress faster than they would in a traditional setting.
If you're located in Chester or willing to travel, I am able to offer lessons in my own studio. Please mention this when getting in touch and we can discuss the options.
Lessons are available for everyone from young beginners (ages 6 and up) through to adult learners at any stage of life. The curriculum is fully adaptive, shaped around each student's specific goals and learning style. We can make exceptions for particularly focused younger students too, and have previously worked with children as young as three.
Yes. Digital Music Tutors holds a 100% pass rate for students taking graded exams (ABRSM, Trinity, Rockschool, LCM), GCSE, and A-Level music. Digital mock exams are used to ensure you are fully prepared before sitting the real thing.
It is your dedicated digital hub, available 24 hours a day. Inside you will find lesson recordings, custom practice videos, sheet music, and homework tasks. It means you always know exactly what to work on between live sessions, which makes a real difference to how quickly you progress.
No contracts. Lessons are billed monthly in advance with no long-term commitment. Cancellations are free with 24 hours' notice, and we will always give you the same courtesy in return.
Start with a free consultation, which you can book here. Afterwards I'll share payment details, and you can choose between monthly packages or a pay-as-you-go arrangement, whichever suits you best. Bank transfer and card payment are both accepted.
A keyboard or piano, a device with a camera and microphone (laptop, tablet or smartphone), and a stable internet connection. Weighted keys are strongly recommended, and we can advise on the best options for your budget during the consultation.
Yes. You can move between 30, 45, or 60-minute lessons at any point as your goals or schedule changes. There's no penalty for switching.
